When the reclamations referred

beiing made at East Point, this Farm lot with several others, the Surveyor General recommended to be resumed (vide his Letter dated 22nd April 1864)

recommendation was approved by His Excellency the Governor. In the Register in the Land office, following note is placed against this Lot, "Notice of Resumption of

"By order", but the Lot does not appear
to have been resumed as Mr. Duddell contines to pay rent for it. I
therefore beg moet respectfully to

pletion of the Harbour of Refuge, that this and
all other Farm Lots in that
neighbourhood be resumed, and the whole properly
laid out, with a
view to the ground being sold, for building and manufacturing purposes.
